This holds true until a certain party comes into power, whose central election mantra for as long as I can remember has been that all of Finland must be kept inhabited, and which practices aggressive regional policy. The five-day universal service obligation could be tightened to ensure everyone has the same equal rights to receive their mail almost by the next day, regardless of where they live… Well, it remains to be seen what on earth the next government will come up with, and I will be following the upcoming election mantras and especially the next government program with interest
