I just bought/sold (Part 8)

Buying an apartment caught me by surprise again, as life usually does. I scrapped together down payments from here and there and unfortunately ended up realizing some Inderes IPO shares—which had been an excellent “tax asset” for the past five years or so—amounting to about ~7% of my total holding. However, thanks to Inderes’ own share buyback program, the relative loss of voting power is slightly smaller.

I bought Kamux. I believe that a business model this simple cannot underperform indefinitely, so I believe the bottom is in.

Management believes in the company and is buying it, so I am too - Eezya

Adding more Lumo to average down my cost basis. It pisses me off because I’ve never even liked the company, but I thought the sub-7.9 euro price was so cheap that I jumped in with too large a position originally. Now it’s clearly the largest holding in my portfolio, which was definitely not the intention.

Picked up Fiserv for the first time. 25 shares at a price of $53.77.

Rarely a sell order this time. Shaved about 20 percent off the Micron position at a price of 106.51 USD; the purchase price for these was 53.20 USD. No target for the proceeds yet, but the rallies of these AI monsters are starting to feel terrifying.

I sold my Adyen and Essity positions. One resulted in a small loss and the other in a small profit.

Bought Intrum in their place at 15.60 SEK.

Sold Smart Eye, with a return of around 15%. I feel like they’ll be available for cheaper soon, and they will definitely return to the portfolio. Let’s see if this trade made any sense (either).

Sold a fifth at 18.80. A nice 20% profit on this.

21Shares Bitcoin ETP with a small amount. 10 units at 18.04

I might buy more with my tax refunds or summer holiday pay. Taking it slow.

The dividend is also lurking just a week away!

I topped up more Canatu at a price of €8.81. I had intended to buy more only later this summer, but the AI panic caused by Broadcom’s earnings report moved my plans forward.

Added more Solar Foods at €4.79, just in case the European marketing authorization is granted during the summer, even though the upcoming investment needs and their financing are a bit daunting. Based on the start, the reception of Solein in America seems to be positive.

Bought 205 shares of KPY with a “hustle grand” (touhutonni) for a short-term play. Let’s see if this brings in some kebab money for Midsummer or if I’ll end up getting roasted on the grill myself.

Sold 7/10 of the portfolio during late spring/early summer.

Kept:

Fortum

Aspo

Sampo

Mainly, the self-financing share for a mortgage is now covered, along with a buffer for renovations. Renovations can of course be compromised on if attractive buying opportunities emerge  this is also a sort of “upgrade” to life. The square footage doubles while housing expenses only increase slightly (1/4?).

I didn’t get any peak price, but I lightened my position in Duell slightly: 2,000 shares at 1.86 (current holding 27,500 shares).

I sold 20 percent of my Nokia position, which I received as an advance inheritance, right before the recent jump. You’re welcome!

Added cautiously a relatively small stack of Revenio @€13.06.

This has actually dropped to being the biggest loser in my Finnish portfolio, down about -34%. This originally entered the portfolio around the time of COVID and truly into the so-called long-term portfolio; there’s no need to panic yet, even though the exciting Visionix deal will have to show how things play out later. Let’s give the company some peace to work now.
