I just bought/sold (Part 8)

I wrote the following in the Tokmanni thread in July:

However, out of that 85-105 million, after financing costs and taxes, owners are left with approximately 40-50 million euros, which @Gadus already referred to above.

In my opinion, the most concerning thing here is the general trend of business profitability, and also, that expansion outside of Finland is by no means a guaranteed success story. Somehow, Kamux reminds me of Tokmanni. I don’t see any huge special expertise in either of these that would make an insane amount of money abroad.

Retail of trinkets and a used car dealer are not among my interests as an investor anyway, which the reader should note.

So today I ended up selling my Black Friday impulse purchase of Kamux shares and bought Tokmanni instead. I still don’t feel strong interest in either of these companies.

Trades made to kill boredom are rarely very profitable, but perhaps those buckets will sell well before Christmas.
