I just bought/sold (Part 7)

Added Olvi, while discounting is ongoing. Guidance decreased by only a couple of percentage points and next year’s result will grow as a result of acquisitions. Continued stock analysis and tested Olvi’s newest product

Fiskars Ab 75% reduction, realizing some losses from this. Let’s wait and see what kind of reactions Thursday’s earnings report brings and then decide whether to re-enter with a larger position or invest the freed-up capital elsewhere…

Purchase:

  • Norbit addition. A little more of the most beautiful to the portfolio! It feels like good news just keeps coming and strategy period targets will be crushed ahead of schedule. The valuation for such a high-quality company is not outrageous (EV/EBIT with this year’s forecasts 19x).

Reduced QT position and added Intellego. Surely everything has already been said about QT, but let’s still leave some in the long-term portfolio.

Saga Furs doubled 275→550 from €6.85.

It’s going quite cheap (MCAP €24.66M). You don’t easily come across similarly priced ones. Silicom and Coffee Holding are the closest I’ve bought. These, however, have risen sharply after purchase. SILC and JVA weren’t priced as blatantly against their balance sheet as Saga.

In the last half-year report:

Equity €83.744M.

Just current assets minus all liabilities = €53.4M

The fur business itself doesn’t interest me. I wouldn’t mind if it were banned, and that would actually be good for this case. They could shut down the whole operation and distribute huge dividends to owners, e.g., 200% dividends to start with.

I like to buy when insiders buy, but I might still end up picking a losing stock from the bottom. Duell at 3.51.

Added to the FARON AOT account, where the average price is 2.26e, which is still above the market price. Good news and high expectations for even better news about finding a partner fuel my own risk-taking with this speculative stock. The average price for OST is slightly higher.

If nothing else, let’s participate in the fight against cancer with positive contributions.

Addition Evolution 100 pcs at 721.2 SEK (ownership now 200 pcs).

Now practically everything is in play (investment loan and the main part of the bankroll), one bullet, so to speak, in the back pocket. Investment rate 232%.

As I’ve said before, if the news is good and Faron can be bought around €2, then I’ll buy. Now, following the biggest buyer and with great results @2.05.

Apetit at €14.30 for the strongest buying urge. Hopefully, it will also be generating dividends in the future.

Exit Kreate before earnings at 10.10. This should yield a nice 30% return plus dividend with a relatively short hold.

Bought LIDAR designer Ouster ($OUST) at $30.13. The AI rally is taking a breather, this has been trading sideways for a while but has tried to go up several times. I anticipate this, target above $40.

Optomed is being written about a lot here, and even though I don’t agree with all the writing, I bought my wife 1000 more shares when it clearly dropped below 4€ towards the evening.

For myself, I fished for Aiforia and managed to get it for 2.61€, which feels like a reasonable price.

I bought European banking giant BNP Paribas. Earlier, I was watching but missed the train. Now, on a small dip, I bought an initial position at €67.39. Larger than Nordea and a dividend yield of around 10%. It has spread its tentacles quite widely. I’m also looking at oil companies with buying intentions in mind. Interest rates probably bottomed out, soon margins will rise again and bank profits will swell even further.
