Out of love for an old friend. Had this sometime in autumn 2020, and it was the only swing that yielded over 500% in less than half a year. The sum was small, but the stock stuck in my mind.
It was forgotten for a while, but after it received Breakthrough designation last spring, I started following it again. In autumn, I became an owner again. This one also has over $300M in cash and Phase 3 is starting.
And to stay in the spirit of the thread, I thought about buying more Nexstim today if the market allows. A bit of a difficult case as trading is dead and the bids/asks are thin
Tyres out, which seems to be moving in the wrong direction, at least in the short term. Back in if things turn around.
Purchase of Detection Technologies with funds from Tyres. I inadvertently bought them for OST even though I intended to buy them for AOT. In some mental lapse, Tyres had also been bought for OST, and it just so happened that both accounts had similar amounts of cash, so it turned into a blunder.
Exited Celsius yesterday after a short, loss-making hold. Will continue to monitor for a potential re-entry.
Took an exploratory position of 1000 shares in Faron today at 2.14.
Bought 5 more units of Invesco STOXX Europe 600 Optimised Construction & Materials yesterday.
Sale:
-250 g physical gold + a few jewelry pieces included
It might have been a mistake, but there were mathematical grounds for it. So gold might not be at ATH yet (when looking at the short term), but with this sale, a certain loan is paid off, whose interest costs I don’t believe the future rise in gold prices will exceed. And if inflation also calms down, I believe it will also calm down changes in gold prices.
I’ve now noticed many times that I’m just not cut out for holding onto any investments for years on end. So we’ll go with the strategy for everything that whatever is bought, it’s sold off with a reasonable/sufficient profit, whether the holding period is a week or two years
10 x Exel position which has been -95% for a good while, which has been annoying to see, and because penny stock gambling is exciting and someone said something remotely positive about it somewhere
Yesterday morning, I reduced half of my Harvia holdings and immediately added a significant amount of Faron at @1.91. The average price is now exactly 2€. Interesting times.
Sold the other half of Lindex during the conf call with a small profit.
Reason: Susanne’s answer to Fria Lind-Ekström’s question about ending the restructuring program lowered, in my view, the likelihood of a quick conclusion to the strategic review. As a result, the risk-adjusted return expectation narrowed during the conf call (note: my own interpretation), and I will observe the situation from the sidelines for a while.
Also, analyst Juva’s interpretation of the situation, published later in the forum thread, seemed to lead to a similar conclusion regarding the restructuring program. But I won’t comment on whether Juva sees the risk-adjusted return expectation as having worsened in Monday’s update, as I do.
Another attempt to find quality from Hesuli. Stocked up on Sampo and EQ.
I asked my friend who knows the Finnish real estate sector if there’s any light visible yet, and the answer was that perhaps the gloom will recede in the second half of this year. Or at least it can’t go down much further. Based on this, added more EQ.
I added NoHo Partners at 7.98 euros. One might conclude from the picture that I had enjoyed a Mordor pastry with white wine during the intermission of The Lord of the Rings play. However, the drink was non-alcoholic and it was not an intermission.
Again EVO with a grand. This is certainly some kind of value or a complete scam, but I’m too stupid to understand it. 230 pcs in the portfolio and I’ll add more if it continues to drop.
I bought a little Faron. Didn’t really intend to, but the financing is now clear and it’s more comfortable to speculate. Maybe some big news will break at some point.
I lightened my positions in both Huhtamäki and Neste even before the earnings reports. Just to be on the safe side.
