The Middle East security situation and aggressions

Is it possible that Trump is employing a tactic again? First, an idea is thrown out that is immediately labeled as completely insane. Then, once everyone has had time to be outraged and wasted their time lamenting this, another solution model is presented that suddenly sounds completely reasonable compared to this insane idea. And it might even be a model that, without this round “out there,” would also have been widely rejected, but when presented as an improvement on the previous one, it can sound much more reasonable.

Or perhaps it’s just about consuming media space with things that aren’t even intended to ultimately materialize, but the left wastes its time on these while something else goes unnoticed…

It will be interesting to see if anything concrete comes of this. I’ll say now that I’d be surprised if US troops appear to occupy the entire area while bulldozers start clearing places for real estate projects…

Since Hamas does not accept Israel’s existence, and Israel is not packing its bags, Gaza will be razed to the ground at regular intervals because Hamas continues its attacks.

This raises the question of whether rebuilding Gaza for its current population is very sensible economically/humanely.

Relocating the population elsewhere is not Trump’s idea; it has been discussed publicly for a longer time, and I myself also concluded (thinking independently) last year that it would be the most sensible option for the civilian population. High-quality infrastructure elsewhere, the standard of living would rise significantly, and Hamas’s recruitment would become more difficult. Many would already want to leave Gaza as it is, due to the political deadlock; Hamas is a cancer that cannot be gotten rid of.

Hamas could not care less about the well-being of the civilian population; for them, the residents are just a resource in a holy war.

In theory, perhaps so. But no country is taking Gazans.

The narrative in this thread is becoming very murky. Relocating two million people from their land because of Trump’s inner circle’s real estate investments and Trump’s love for Israel is not in any way realistic, but a completely sick and inhumane idea.

Trump has claimed to be a dealmaker, but this current proposal is not a deal; it’s a blatantly opportunistic suggestion that violates international law.

Of course, after this, one begins to partly understand the support that Israel’s actions in Gaza have received. Houses have been bombed and people’s living conditions destroyed, which only promotes this Riviera idea, but does not make it possible in any way.

That’s right. And it is also a project that, if pursued, will also cause a violent backlash against Americans. And more importantly, it makes that backlash understandable and acceptable among wider circles.

The likelihood of Trump’s proposal materializing is close to zero. I don’t believe he would get support for sending American soldiers from his own supporters or from Congress. Furthermore, the idea is completely against international law and would destroy the idea of lasting peace between Israel and Arab countries. This is probably Trump’s ‘madman’ tactic, and he is trying to initiate a discussion with a completely extreme proposal, regardless of reactions. I don’t know, but perhaps the intention is to put pressure on Arab countries and get them to participate in the reconstruction and supervision of Gaza, which could bring more lasting peace to the region.

It seems the whole plan is some kind of 4D chess or just a traditional brain fart. Indeed, by utilizing this uproar, it would be possible to find some new angle to this topic. (And to justify to oneself how the great leader is a genius again and manipulates others like..) But the basic problem is that nobody wants those Gazans in safer and more beautiful environments.

Not because there in Gaza they are a really big thorn in the side of the arch-enemy, Israel. Nor because the last time they were in better areas, they were thrown out because they couldn’t behave (e.g., #1, #2, and more on Quora). As things stand, there is no party that would voluntarily take them.

And if the hand salutes didn’t convince (referencing the example of Florida neo-Nazis where something is very familiar), then these forced displacement fantasies won’t really help improve the image that is now being built either..

It seems that we are not far from Putin’s or Belarus’s arsenal of methods.

IN ISRAEL, Defense Minister Israel Katz said he had ordered the country’s army to draw up a plan for relocating Gaza residents. According to Katz, the plan would apply to residents who wish to leave voluntarily.

– Gaza residents should be allowed the freedom to leave and move elsewhere, which is the norm everywhere in the world, Katz said in a television interview, according to news agency Reuters.

When Katz was asked where Palestinians could go, the defense minister suggested countries that have opposed Israel’s military operation in Gaza as destinations. The minister named Spain, Ireland, and Norway, for example.

An Israeli strike against Iran’s nuclear program is considered very likely this year, but coordination planning with the USA is still ongoing:

“According to a report in the Wall Street Journal early Thursday, US intelligence assessed that Israel is considering striking Iranian nuclear sites attacks on Iran’s nuclear sites this year.”

"According to reporting in major U.S. media outlets in recent days, American intelligence reports claimed that Washington believed an Israeli strike on Iran would come in the first half of 2025. CNN also said that Israel intended not only to attack Iran’s nuclear capabilities but to bring down the Iranian regime. "

Strategic leaks that rattle sabers at Iran. If an operation were truly planned, not a word would be breathed about it.

I interpret that again as Iran having been warned. Now it can either change its ways or suffer the consequences.

Of course, operations are usually carried out in great secrecy, but in this case, a new Israeli strike on Iranian nuclear facilities has already been expected. In that sense, the leak does not cause any problems because it is already known in advance what the targets of a possible Israeli attack are.

The method of execution is also quite clear, meaning the Israeli air force will carry out the attack with fighter jets. What makes the matter interesting is that this may be the first time an F-35 flies a combat mission where it is exposed to enemy air defense.

Doctors Without Borders (Lääkärit ilman rajoja) does not consider Israel’s collective punishment of civilians in Gaza by exacerbating the humanitarian crisis to be a fair negotiating tactic. Allowing drinking water, food, and medicine to war-torn civilians would certainly seem reasonable even during negotiations, but Israel, as is its custom, disagrees.

Rumors concerning Palestinians in Gaza, with inquiries made about space in Somalia, Somaliland, and Sudan for Palestinians.

The matter is urgent in the sense that Israel still has this less than 4-year Trump window open to carry out the transfer without fear of US sanctions.

It seems that Turkey has moved to an open dictatorship, free elections are now finally over:

"The Istanbul Mayor, Ekrem Imamoglu, was detained as part of corruption and terror investigations in a move the opposition condemned as politically motivated. Some 100 others connected to the mayor were also detained, including elected Istanbul district mayors Resul Emrah Sahan and Murat Calik. "

A good point from a Jewish journalist about how Israeli Zionists are violent and racist towards everyone, even Jews, and use history to justify their violence and insatiable lust for power.

I’m not holding my breath that our era’s Nazi terrorist party Hamas would be removed from power even now, when they have been allowed to rampage in Gaza since 2007 as they please, killed and tortured dissidents, and their support has been strong all along. The international community doesn’t seem to be able to do anything about such groups, when there is support and money from Iran in the background.

Now, however, in Gaza, people are at least daring to openly demand Hamas’s expulsion.

Israel has killed 15 aid workers, according to the UN. According to the UN, the ambulances were clearly marked, but Israeli soldiers still fired at them. Harsh actions and quite unrestrained killing of people.

It is quite typical for certain actors, such as Hamas and Russia, to use ambulances for transporting troops, weapons, and ammunition.
