I wrote what I think is a comprehensive article about Kesla’s Kerberos multi-purpose trailer. The main focus is more on the product itself and its long journey to military use rather than on it as an investment target.
The tractor manufacturer Valtra and its owner AGCO seemed to be a significant factor in this equation. When the Finnish Defence Forces unveiled their updated combat doctrine in the early 2010s, agricultural tractors were acquired for military equipment again after a long time. After the Valtras were acquired, their more specific accessory equipment began. Valtra and Kesla had a history of various collaborations, so it was quite easy to include Kesla in discussions with the Defence Forces through Valtra. That’s where it all started.
