I recently listened to Trader’s Club’s Bitcoin episode, which was good in a way, but remained one-sided as the opposing view was missing.
Regarding this, a wish for a podcast topic arose: Bitcoin/cryptos, with (at least) 1 bull and 1 bear in the booth. For example, invite Jukka Lepikkö from TC as a guest, and I’m sure you have someone with an opposing view?
It would be nice to hear a well-prepared, reasoned, and thoughtful discussion on the topic instead of the very common fervor (in one direction or another). Of course, if such a sensible discussion on the topic already exists on other channels, feel free to link it.

Good interview and it was nice to listen to Rauli’s thoughts and history as an investor. It was also refreshing that a professional dared to say directly that there isn’t any specific precise strategy behind it, but rather he buys good companies at a suitable valuation.
One slightly distracting technical issue, which has also come up when listening to Rauli before, is his style of occasionally speaking at a slightly lower volume and with a lower voice, usually during some reflection. I don’t know if I’m just getting old, but when listening with earbuds, you really have to concentrate hard to understand what he’s saying; it turns into a kind of “bass hum”.
Otherwise, a very pleasant speaking voice to listen to.
I don’t know if this could be corrected somehow during the editing phase, or if I just need to go get hearing aids.
This has been discussed before, I don’t remember if it was specifically about Rauli! It makes listening challenging, especially when @Verneri_Pulkkinen is in the studio at the same time as someone speaking in a calmer voice. I have a bad habit of listening to podcasts when going to sleep, and sometimes I wake up to Verneri’s burst of laughter (which is great, so don’t change!
) and sometimes I have to turn up the volume to hear the other participant’s exhalation, until I wake up again to someone making Verphu laugh

Someone with a black belt in IT and electrical wires probably knows if there are mics or ready-made software that evens out these extremes in sound. ![]()
Anyway, it’s great that quality podcasts are coming out again like an assembly line! ![]()
Thanks to both @jasso and @Ituhippinen for bringing up the topic! And glad to hear that the episode’s content was enjoyable to listen to despite the technical nuances! ![]()
The audio track has already been compressed quite heavily, and this is always a bit of a balancing act between natural dynamism and heavy compression, but I’ll try to turn the compressor’s screws even further next time.
