Thanks, but Inderes’ strategic decisions are made on entirely different grounds
Yes, I was there last spring. It was quite a strenuous trip in the middle of a tight work schedule, so I don’t know if I can do it again - but it was fun and a great experience!
No. Roope’s significance in success has been great; he is, in my opinion, the greatest pesäpallo player of all time and also a very fine person, but he is still just one man - and Jymy is always bigger than one man. It’s pointless to try to fit anyone into the same shoes, but a certain renewal is continuous, and a solution will be found for this (by people smarter than me).
You might be on the right track. People from Kajaani were previously very enthusiastic during a period when high-level men’s pesäpallo was also played in Kajaani. Since then, it has fizzled out, which is probably at least one reason why they don’t come in such large numbers to follow Jymy’s games. But we are trying to activate them and get them involved in the journey. I do believe there is demand for top-level sports in the region, especially since Hokki went bankrupt earlier this year.
@Juha_Kinnunen I’d also like to ask if you get statistics from Sanoma Media/Ruutu on how many TV viewers Jymy’s and other teams’ matches attract? Or is this known only by the federation and Sanoma?
Thanks for the trust @Osinkoseilaaja, I can reveal that we are talking about a six-figure portfolio, I don’t think I will ever reach the portfolio sizes of @Lyly_ja_Immo and @superg, unless I live to be over a hundred years old and continue saving until then . And as you said, don’t lose faith in Tokmanni, the red truck will push itself out of the swamp again and even @Vanerihands’s memes will take a different direction .
Exactly. Nature is a much bigger thing than short-term memory, the wilderness of Lapland, the drying south, melting ice. Galaxies are part of nature and humans cannot budge them. Perhaps someday somewhere a being will develop that can even slightly touch the traces of humans. It is useless for dictators to feel important or for an investor to wonder when to sell. It doesn’t even have the same significance as a drop in the Atlantic. But living is generally fun and, to some extent, worth protecting, at least for fellow species. However, the evolutionary background does not favor such behavior.
Raharadio was kicked off again as autumn arrived! With Sauli and Marianne, we talked about the weakness of consumer confidence and what it would take for it to pick up. Additionally, we highlighted shareholder benefits, which for some reason are not found in abundance on the Helsinki Stock Exchange (highlighting K-Plussa for Kesko owners and the Viking Line shareholder card). And finally, we talked about corporate subsidies. Hopefully, it’s enjoyable to listen to heading into the weekend!

@Tomi_Valkeajarvi already published an article yesterday on the results of the community survey. Today, I personally went through all the given answers, especially the comments concerning the development of the analysis. From this, I received several useful tips and focus areas for my own work in the future. And possibly ideas for other content outside the actual analysis. So, many thanks to everyone who responded! Feedback is read and utilized. Hopefully, you will continue to respond actively in future surveys as well. Have a nice weekend!
I haven’t read the legendary Security Analysis book in certainly 10 years. A 700+ page work isn’t something you get through in a day, but I absolutely recommend it to everyone. I didn’t remember that Graham himself lost 70% of his money between 1929-1932, during the Great Depression.
Yes, there could be much more price fluctuation in market electricity than currently if data centers consume all nuclear-generated electricity with their steady consumption.
A large number of schools are being closed. Are there just no children? Will more be born by offering money?
Why isn’t the real reason stated. Culture has changed. Those of fertile age do not long for noisy, smelly, attention-demanding packages to take care of, which later only cause trouble. Rather, money is put into cosmetics, entertainment services, travel, changing partners.
It is ensured that society will take care of us in old age, that’s why those taxes are paid now. Or whatever, something will surely be figured out.
From my own experience, however, one can say that despite the troubles, it would be empty without children and siblings.
Changes in thinking are needed, not money. Or a little of that too. However, the shortage is mostly of parents; when there are parents, children come naturally. There are already too many party-goers in Malta.
