Company threads are intended to be kept clean, meaning we focus solely on the company itself. If someone wants to learn about a new company, they often read the entire company thread from beginning to end. That’s quite an undertaking if the thread regularly contains all sorts of interjections that are not related to the company’s fundamentals in any way. There’s also a separate thread for stock price speculation. Neste alone has over 24,000 followers on Inderes’ company page; if someone has put the thread on watch, they get a notification every time someone posts there. That alone is a reason to always consider carefully what to write in a company thread, as we don’t want to waste other people’s time. Sharing links related to the company is highly encouraged; everyone can then form their own opinion from the shared material, and it doesn’t need to be separately announced in the company thread.
These rules and guidelines are the result of a long period of development, and it’s understandable that not all new users immediately grasp them, and even older users sometimes forget them. However, let’s always strive for improvement, so that using the forum is pleasant and smooth for everyone.
