A bus driver brightened a Helsinki motherâs day on Tuesday afternoon.
Jutta Ala-ĂijĂ€lĂ€, living in Koskela, was taking her almost two-year-old VĂ€inö home from daycare, who âis starting to show a bit of the terrible twosâ.

It usually puts me in a good mood when I see dogs in nice winter clothes. Some time ago, I saw a dog that looked scary in itself (Iâm a bit afraid of animals, but I donât think I have a phobia), but it was wearing a pink sweater. Oh, and once there was a really long dachshund-shaped dog with a really long sweater; that was cute, too.

My partner noticed that I sip my morning coffee very slowly, which risks the enjoyment fading as the coffee cools in the mug. Well, this morning she surprised me. She had preheated the mug before serving by letting boiling water sit in it. It really made my day. I love that woman!

Iâve had this on my mind for a while now, and I finally found a good thread for the topic. In the Q4FY25 interview, Elisaâs CEO said (paraphrasing from memory) that thanks to Elisaâs innovation and patent, scam calls in Finland have almost completely stopped.
A while back, I was wondering about calls from Sweden that ended immediately when I answered, until one call lasted that crucial second longer, and I heard that it was indeed scammers calling. So, I believe Elisaâs technology worked in my case. Itâs a really big deal if theyâve been stopped nationwide, at least for the time being!

A surprise participant started chasing the finish line TV camera after the skiers. The dog stopped for a moment to wonder at the stationary camera before dashing across the finish line after the Croatian and Greek skiers. In the finish area, the dog was taken into the tender care of the support staff and planted a big kiss on them.

At eight in the morning, his grandchild Elia comes over to be looked after. During the day, they stay busy together, spend time outdoors, eat, and take naps. Around four, Elia is picked up to go home.
