Emerita Resources as an investment

Let’s open a thread, in case a few fellow investors want to discuss EMO.

Emerita Resources is a junior mining company with several different areas under drilling in Spain, which contain massive polymetallic veins. Certain historical resources have served as a basis there, and in addition, modern research has led to the discovery of many new targets for drilling.

I am somewhat reliant on a third party regarding this target, but my understanding is that despite the price increase, there is still a lot of potential upside left (my own purchases mainly at 1.98 and then adding on a dip at 1.5x).

So, the company has several areas, and an interesting potential value increase could come from one area where litigation has been ongoing for years (where another large mining company is accused of various crimes and the court proceedings are in the final stages = Criminal Law and Administrative Law). If the other company or its personnel are convicted (over ten accused and found guilty in all lower instances), even one conviction is enough, then according to Spanish law, control of the area transfers to EMO, as it is the only other approved bidder.

Additionally, they were apparently getting a larger, lower-grade copper target between two large mines for free drilling (I heard this from a Doc Jones podcast).

This is just an introduction, and I’ve put it vaguely as I can’t be bothered to look up the names of the areas, etc.

From the “Bought and Sold” thread, I’ve noticed that I’m not the only owner here on the forum, so I thought we could gather information and news about the target here!

Significant drilling permits obtained. They have quite a lot of drills, so I would think that they genuinely intend to quickly map out the resources, and not just funnel money to management.

The first hole in the Romanera assay has been made. There are 6 drills in the area. 4 others are ready, but the assay is pending.

Can anyone comment on the gold and silver concentrations? Apparently, they are very happy with them, but it doesn’t really say anything to me.

Here’s some information on the historical background.
