Porsche unveiled the new all-electric Cayenne EV, which the company calls the most powerful Porsche of all time. Its top-tier version produces 1139 horsepower and accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds. The model supports 800 V charging, and deliveries will begin late next summer.

The Cayenne EV will, of course, be available as a base model and also alongside internal combustion engine and hybrid versions.

Porsche has also refined its electrification strategy as markets change. According to the article, stricter EV regulations in the United States are increasing uncertainty, but the Cayenne EV is still expected to strengthen the brand’s position in the premium electric vehicle segment.

HOF Capital and BlueFive Capital are in negotiations to purchase Porsche AG’s stake in Bugatti.

The arrangement would involve Porsche exiting the supercar company and potentially the Rimac Group as well.

The deal’s value is estimated to exceed one billion euros. Porsche’s withdrawal would free up capital and clarify the hypercar manufacturer’s ownership structure, while investors would pump new growth-oriented capital into Rimac.
