Boreo - Industrial owner and serial acquirer

From Boreo, one can at least state that the management is in the same boat as the investors. CEO Kari Nerg personally owns and through the investment company AK Capital, 35,370 shares at an average price of €12.54. Nerg thus has a loss of about €110,000 on his investments.

Of these shares, 35,000 are on the investment company’s balance sheet, and the company has been primarily capitalized with borrowed money. It would seem that the owner has had to invest more equity into the company to get the loans repaid. The CEO therefore certainly has an interest in getting Boreo’s share price to turn around, so that he would get a return on his own investments as well, and would not have to plug his investment company’s cash flow with personal funds in the future.
